NVBF Invites Teams for 2026 CG Customs National Premier League Final Phase in Abuja

The Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has officially released the schedule and guidelines for the final phase of the 2026 Comptroller-General of Customs National Premier League for both male and female categories.

According to an official invitation letter dated 26th August, 2026, signed by the NVBF Secretary General, Mrs. Aliyu-Abass Wasilat, the highly anticipated final phase is scheduled to hold from October 15th to 30th, 2026, at the Indoor Sports Hall, Package 'B' of the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

2026 CG Customs National Premier League Timeline

• Team Arrival: October 15, 2026

• Technical Meeting/Competition Days: October 16–29, 2026

• Departure: October 30, 2026

To ensure professional standards and seamless operations, the NVBF has laid down mandatory conditions for all participating clubs. Teams failing to comply face heavy financial penalties or disqualification:

1. Accompanying Referees: It is mandatory for each team to travel with an accompanying referee. Failure to do so will attract a ₦100,000 fine.

   
   

2. Player Eligibility: All athletes must present their official player's license during the final phase. The license fee is fixed at ₦5,000 per player, alongside a general team affiliation fee of ₦20,000.

   
   

3. FIVB Registration: Players without a Volleyball Information System (VIS) profile must register on the FIVB VIS platform to avoid disqualification, at a fee of ₦2,000 per player.

   
   

4. Logistics: All participating teams remain fully responsible for their own accommodation and logistics throughout the tournament.

   
   

5. No-Show Penalty: The NVBF has cracked down on late withdrawals. Any team that fails to participate in this final phase will face a stiff penalty fine of two hundred thousand naira (₦200,000.00).

The final phase of the 2026 CG Customs National Premier League follows a highly competitive first round and is expected to produce the ultimate champions of Nigerian domestic volleyball for the 2026 season.
