Meet the brain
Hi, I’m Ezinne, the brain behind VolleyVarse.
By day, I work in tech as a data engineer, but volleyball has always been one of the spaces where I’ve felt the strongest sense of community.
For years, volleyball has taken me to different cities, courts, and communities. Every trip introduced me to new players, new teams, and new stories. But everywhere I went, one question kept coming up again and again:
“Where can I play volleyball in this city?”
Sometimes the answer came from a random Tiktok comment, a friend of a friend, or pure luck. And I kept thinking — why should finding volleyball be this difficult?
That’s how VolleyVarse started.
I wanted to build something simple but powerful: a place where anyone who loves volleyball could easily find courts, clubs, and communities around them. A digital map of the volleyball world, starting from the communities we already have.
VolleyVarse is my way of bringing those two worlds together, using technology to make the volleyball ecosystem more visible, connected, and accessible.
This is just the beginning, and VolleyVarse is growing because of players, coaches, clubs, and fans who believe the sport deserves more visibility.
If you love volleyball, you're already part of this journey.

The passion for the game in Nigeria is massive, but the lack of directory was a hurdle. This platform makes it incredibly easy for any player to find their home court and join the growth of the game.
