2026 CGC Volleyball Premier League Returns for Final Phase in Abuja

The 2026 CGC Volleyball Premier League returns on October 16, with teams set to battle for the men's and women's titles at the Indoor Sports Hall of Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

The final phase brings together some of Nigeria's established volleyball clubs and institutional teams, with defending champions looking to retain their titles and challengers hoping to finish the season on top.

In the men's category, CNS Spikers will begin the final phase as reigning champions and face the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC). Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), meanwhile, will take on Ajase Ipo as they look to turn their position at the top of the league into a championship title after narrowly missing out last season.

Two-time champions Offa VC will face the Nigeria Police Force, while Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) takes on second-placed COAS Spikers. Former champions Kano Pillars will meet Life Camp VC, and the 2025 National Division One winners will face Sunshine Spikers.

The women's competition will also feature a title defence by Nigeria Customs Service, who begin against NAF Rockets. Former champions CNS Spikers will face Benue Queens, while Excelsior Angels take on Olalomi Royal Angels.

Other women's fixtures will see Anambra Queens play Kada Emeralds, Life Camp VC meet Fire Service, and NSCDC face Vipers & Partners VC.

With the final phase beginning on October 16, the teams will have their sights set on finishing the competition strongly and securing the league honours.
